Puppies fighting

Hi Lori, I have a 18week old German Shepherd,and a 16 week old Belgian Shepherd.The German Shepherd is a big gentle giant, he is so loving, and loves being around other puppies when we take him out. He has had some puppy training which he has done very well in. We just recently got the Belgian and he is a great we puppy too. The problem is the German pup just wants to play and the Belgian pup just wants to bite him and fight him. They eat together and sleep together, its just when it comes to playing it gets really out of hand. Please help for i love these dogs and do not wish to have to get rehouse one.

That is quite normal behavior.  As long as both seem to enjoy it, let them be.  You do need to keep an eye on it and when the backs come up, the growls become low, and they are doing quick, short snaps, break it up and let them cool off.  Also, if one retreats and doesn't come back, stop it.
