Shock Collars.

Question
I am having a problem with a female of one year old wanting to visit the neighbors and kids.
Do you believe in the shock training collar?  I am at wits end at this point and time and was told this is quick and easy.

Hi, yes shock collars are very quick and easy, but also very domineering and tend to really destroy a dog's own personality.  Also, a lot of dogs get wise to them and either learn to run through them (basically get far enough away from the receiver) or know when they are on and off due to the weight on their collar and take advantage of that time.  Is the dog spayed?  She is at her teenage stage of life and will be more rebellious & stubborn.  You should get her professionally trained at your home so she can learn in her own environment with you and your family.  Hope this helps,  Good Luck
