i have a 6yr.old male pom. and a 7yr.old female pom. i recently noticed their front teeth or either already missing or loose! is this a common problem with this breed? thanks!

Hi Betty,

Unfortunetly, yes it is.  It is very important to keep their teeth clean.  My pom lost a tooth at the age of three!  He had his teeth cleaned at the vet when he was three.  I will continue to have them cleaned by the vet about every two or three years depending on how clean they look.
