Breeding a pomeranian

Question
I have a 7 month old male pomeranian, when can I start breeding him?

Answer
Make sure you have a dog who should be bred.  Read the Pom standard and if your pup holds up to that then you'll need to find a suitable mate-make sure you know about any heritable problems behind him and his mate.  ALl Poms have health issues behind them it is a matter of knowing what they are so that you don't perpetuate or "double" up on those so that you don't create pups that have those problems and more.

If you are going to breed Poms.  Know the standard.  Meet other breeders who are breeding to better the Poms and who can mentor you. :o)

Best of luck.
