Question
I've got two cats, sisters they were feral before we got them. They've had their first shots now and soon to get their second. I've been feeding them a hollistic food, called solid gold, they seem to be much more active on it. I've been wondering though they occasionally will start twitching, then they'll stand up and run in one direction jump on a chair and then scramble around on the chair for a minute and stop. It just seems incredibly erratic sometimes. Now they've learned how to make noises, they've each got totally unique sounds, narbles has got about 3 and digit has 12 or more. I'm trying to figure out it these sounds mean different things or if they can't really controll whats coming out

Answer
I'm assuming that they are still kittens since you said they just got their first round of shots.  If that is the case then it sounds like the running around and scrambling up on the chair is playing.  Kittens can be very silly when they get to running around, and very clumsy too, running around like a chicken with its head cut off, as the saying goes.  The noises they're making is probably just them learning what sounds they can make, and talking to you and to each other.  Some cats are more vocal than others, which is probably why one seems to have more noises.  I'm sure they mean something too, we just can't understand it.  Kittens tend to get more rambunctious as they age until they get to be an adult, then they usually will calm down some.
