Feline nutering

Our little male kitten, Julington, was nutered on Monday and now, Sunday, he is still lethargic.  Before his proceedure he was very lively and full of energy, now he sleeps a lot and can barely walk, acts like a zombie.  I am very afraid the vet did permanent damage to him and ruined a wonderful kitty.  What can I do to help him?

I would get him back to the vet immediately!!!!!  This is not normal behavior for a just neutered male. They are usually their old selves within 24 hours.  I am not a vet, but I wonder if there was a reaction to the anaesthetic or he picked up an infection from somewhere?

Please let me know how he does.
