Question
Hi I have a 1 month female kitten who has stopped drinking water and stopped eating food. She climbs into the water bowl with all four paws but refuses to eat or drink alone, my fiancee force feeds her with a syringe but her condition has not improved.what should we do

Answer
Hi Gareth,

She needs to see a vet, immediately. At this young age, they are subject to hypoglycemia if they don't eat every several hours, as well as dehydration if they won't drink. If the baby isn't eating, she's likely sick. She may be constipated or have an upper respiratory infection, or something more serious. Whatever it may be, a vet certainly needs to diagnose her and determine the proper treatment.

Best of luck!
