Question
i have recently got a very young kitten she is about 4 weeks old sadly the mum died so i have been feeding it cleaning it and everything else i can do for it. since i had here i notice that both her eyes aren't in the center of her eyes where you would expect to find them.im was wondering is this common in kitten and will they correct themselves as she develops or with she just have squint eyes all her life. any advise you have would be great
thanks

Answer
I am really not too sure what you are describing. Cats do have a second eyelid and its possible you are seeing that, but you shouldn't be so it should be looked at by a vet. Actually, for all purposes, you really should get her to a vet. Kittens need to be dewormed - can be fatal if not done - and should be thoroughly checked for any other problems they may have. If her mum died, she may have inherited some illness or disease and you really should have her checked by a vet asap if you want to keep her healthy.
