pls help my cats turned mean

my cats are best buds they love me n each other both desexed and been together for 1 year. i bathed them for the first time the other day and one has now became violent towards me and the other cat. he did not enjoy the bath and i now have them appart as the other cat is frightened and i want them back to normal please help
