newly altered male humping

My 4 month old kittens both got altered today. Now the male won't leave the female alone.  Holding her neck and humping her.  Is this okay?

It often takes a good 4-6 weeks for all the hormones to dissipate.  So, the male could still be interested even though he is neutered.  This tendency should pass in a couple of weeks as the hormone levels in the male become less and less.
