Kitten delivery

Question
I have a small feline that just had her first litter of kittens. I am afraid though that there is still a kitten inside. It has been three days since the delivery, so I am worried about her health. Should I be. I can fell (i think) one inside her while petting her, but it does not seem to move at all. What should I do?

Answer
Robert,

You need to take your kitty to the vet for a post-natal checkup.  It is possible she is a bit constipated, but, to be sure, a vet checkup is the best way to tell.  If there is anything left inside it will lead to big problems, so it is always best to be certain she got everything out.

Please let me know what your vet finds.

Best regards... Norm.

Congratulations on your new litter.
