What are dark spots showing up on my 13 year old cats nose?

This is commonly called "Feline Acne".  It's not anything to worry about. You can take a soapy washcloth,using a cleanser with benzoil peroxide, and try to clean it if your cat will let you. Try to do this every day.
Are you using plastic bowls or plates to feed your cat?  This is one of the main reasons that cats develop this problem. The plastic rubs against their skin and nose, causing the acne.  If you are using plastic, change to metal or glass feeding bowls. I hope this helps!
