Question
I want to adopt mini persians and Exotic shorthair. Can you please let me know if there are any known problems (health, temperament, life span etc.) with teacup and toy exotics or persians, compared to normal full size ones? Thanks.

Answer
Mutations sometimes lead to health problems, but teacups/mini's are not the result of a mutation.  They are the result of carefully breeding the smallest stock available of the regular-sized Persian.  In reality, they are just small Persians (or Exotic Shorthairs).  Therefore, there would not be any problems anticipated.

However, any time a small genepool is used to create lines, one needs to be mindful that health problems may arise.  And there is a limited amount of Persians/Exotic Shorthairs that are suitably small enough for bringing into the teacup line.  As the breeding program continues, it is possible that some unforeseen health problems could surface.  As of now, though, there is not any problem particular to teacups/mini's that the full-sized cats don't have.
