pedigree kittens

we are buying 2 pedigree kittens (brother and sister) in 3 weeks from a breeder.  
What paperwork do we need have to ensure authenticity?

You will need registration papers from a bona fide cat registry.  If they are not for breeding and they are not altered, getting papers may be dependent upon your getting them altered. It is a nice gesture to also provide you a pedigree (but not necessary).

I would make sure this is all spelled out in your sales contract.
