bringin a new addition home to the family

i have a 3 year old cat that is indoor only and have just bought a kitten my older cat tends to be a little bit of a bully when it comes to other animals but she had a phantom pregnancy just before we had her neutered 2 years ago and since then she has her toys that she took on as her "babies" that she has to have with her how would be the best way to introduce her to the kitten

It really depends on the personality of the cat. The female cat I have now would freak out if I brought ANY cat home! But I used to have a male cat that was very friendly.
When I would bring a cat inside, he would stare at it with curiousity. I had two kittens for a short time and he even
let them "nurse" on him! hehe

If she is very nurturing and views her toys as 'babies' then it sounds like she would take this kitten under her wing. You'll have to give it a try and go from there.
