tick bites

Hi, my dog recently has came home with tons of ticks. can they make him sick? I treated him by washing him and Frontline, but he feels hot and is moping around.If you have any advise I would greatly appreciate it.

Yes, ticks can make a dog sick.  THere are many tick borne bacterial diseases that have been identified in the dog. The most common are Lyme's disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and Ehrlichiosis.  Ask your vet to run a blood profile for these tick borne diseases.
