Can Pomeranians live in hot wheather?

Question
Hello,
I'm thinking of getting a Pomeranian but the thing is i live in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) - Middle east, and the wheather here is very hot and humid especially during the summer.. the temperature reaches 40 degrees in most days.. and I'll probably keep the dog in the back yard but i'll definetly built him a house so he stays in the shadow away from the sun.. and i'll provide him with all the care he needs..
We've had dogs b4 but they were'nt toy dogs so i'm not sure if it's a good idea to get one or not.. although i really want to
i'm not allowed to keep it inside the house.

Answer
Every animal is different. My suggestion is that you contact different breed clubs in your town/country and find out which dogs do the best in your environment, then fall in love with that type of dog.

I would hestitate to ever suggest a person get a dog when the dog cannot be in the home. If the dog gets sick, or needs more company, they need to be able to be in the home or they could die. Most small dogs have been bred to adore company and many would pine away if kept outdoors.
