i have a six yr old rat terrier her name is reba she is a very good girl and listens well lately she has not been listenin all that well and she has a thick brown gooey lookin stuff comin out of her vagina she dont seem in pain and is still eatin the same sometimes it hangs down like 2 to 3 inches its pretty nasty and is gettin on my couch what do u think it could be i also have a toy fox terrier about 1.5 yrs old he seems fine i dont think she pregnant neither dog is fixed

It is possible that your dog is suffering from pyometra. That is an infection in the uterus and no antibiotics will touch it.

If that is not the case the dog is pregnant and she is getting ready to give birth. Don't assume that she isn't if both dogs aren't neutered.

Either way, she needs to see the vet as soon as possible. Pyometra is a surgical emergency and if she is getting ready for birth then you should have her checked out.
