Cat with red rimmed eyes

I've noticed the past couple of days my cat has red rimmed eyes, could this be something?   Thanks so much!

Hi Tammi,
   I don't know for sure, because the rim or lower eyelid is usually pinkish to reddish. If you think they look really red/ sore/ and inflammed then I would have a vet. look at your kitties eyes. Is there a discharge from the eyes (runny eyes) and is it green or yellowish? And does your cat rub it's eyes alot. If yes to these questions then I would for sure take to a vet.
