vision problems

I have a new 13 week old puppy that seems to have sight problems. He walks the perimeter of the room, with his head hanging down. Some days (the last 5) he seemed to be able to see, at least shadows, others, like last night, he wanders aimlessly bumping into things. Otherwise, his health is great, eating, sleeping, bowel movements and general "puppy" attitude. The periods of "blindness" seem to depress him.

You should contact the breeder immediately to find out if there is a history of eye problems or if any other pups are having problems.  I would highly recommend taking the puppy to a veterinary ophthomalogist to have his eyes looked at so he can be treated most aggressively.
