I just got a puppy and he came with his 8 week shots...when should I take him to the doctors for his next check up?

I would recommend an examination now to make sure he is healthy and to have a stool sample checked.  Health Guarantees are only valid if you have the puppy examined within 7-10 days of purchase.  And at the initial visit the vet can go over house training, behavior and necessary healthcare to get you started on the right foot.

Puppies usually get vaccines every 3-4 weeks until they are 4 months old.
