I have a yokshire terrier...

I have a yokshire terrier and he takes so long to poop every afternoon,
sometimes it takes him up to 30-40 min!  Is this too long, what can we do
to make him do it faster.

If you add mineral oil to his food, it will slide out better.  Make sure that it is mineral oil, not cooking oil.  For a Yorkie, I would mix about 1/2 tsp. in the food daily.  You can also add some beans or ground up carrots to the food to give it more undigested matter.
