Chihuahua post Spay surgery

Question
My 3 lb Chihuahua was spayed on Thursday, today is Saturday. She is not lethargic, but has just wanted to spend all day in her bed. Doesn't even want to walk around. From time to time she starts squealing when she moves, but it has gotten better since Thursday. However, I noticed this morning that her general stomach area (and around the incision) is normal, but the very low stomach right up to her vulva looks swollen and "pouchy". When I push on it, it doesn't feel firm inside, like maybe just tissue or liquid. Is this cause for concern that she has an internal infection, or something is wrong? No vomiting, no diarrhea. Mild appetite, still drinking water. Please advise. I already took her back to the vet the day after because of her squealing that scared me. They didn't notice any swelling... that was yesterday.
Thanks

Answer
Jennie,

Please trust your veterinary team.  If you have concerns use them to check your pet out.  No concern is too small.  I have found to never ignore the pet parents concerns.  Sometimes it is nothing, sometimes it is something.  And since they pet cant talk, you are the only voice she has.  Take her back.  Let them look again.  And keep being the good pet parent you are.

Good Luck to you both
