bumps under labs jaws

i have a black lab 1yr old.  the end of his bottom jaw(by mouth) seems infected.  the bumps resemble pimples, alot of them.  i have seen puss in them.  he does not have fleas, if he does i have never seen them.  a couple of times i have found ants in his food bowl.  do you have any answers or suggestions?  thank you

This may be chin acne.  Sometimes puppies will get this from plastic bowls.  Some of them are infected with bacteria, some with yeasts.  Some of these cases of chin acne are actually demodex mange.  I would recommend that you have your vet look at these lesions to determine what they are and the best course of treatment.
