Litter Box Training

Question
I have adopted an outdoor cat.  I have purchased a litter box, but he wants to go outdoors.  What can I do to teach him to use the box, especially with inclement weather, etc.?

I would recommend purchasing CAT ATTRACT LITTER to draw him to the box.  www.preciouscat.com

Provide several boxes and consider using FELIWAY or COMFORT ZONE diffusers to help ease the stress of the transition.  

You can also provide different substrates such as sand or potting soil to see if he would be more attracted to that.
