My vet's office will prescribe Torbugesic and if that doesn't help, Adequan shots.  Both are very expensive and I will order the food you suggested and add salmon oil.  If you think that's possibly adequate, it sure sounds better to me!  thanks again ~ sorry I didn't include this first time!

Hi Kathleen-  the Torbugesic injections or pills can make your cat very sleepy and even lethargic.  Your vet may need to play with the dosage to get it right.  It is very much a sedative.

Yes, the NuVET feline and Salmon oil will be great!
