mange in puppies

i found a stray puppy and belive she has mange, how can i tell, and can she pass it to my other dogs?

  Yes mange is conagtious to other dogs. I wouldn't let them play together just yet. Mange is alittle mite (bug) that live under the skin. You can't see the mites with the naked eye, if your going to keep the puppy then you need to take her to the Vet. so they can do what they call a skin scrape and look under the microscope to see if she has mange. Now it is possible that she could just have fleas and not mange. So take her to the vet. Monday 6/7/04 for a check up. Take care and good luck!
