more than hair balls

Dear Dr. Grand,

My cat, Ollie, has vomited violently in the past two weeks.  It's explosive and has a horrible odor.  She doesn't usually throw up, except an occasional hairball.  We have been feeding both our cat's Wellness cat food and Blue Buffalo.  My other cat is doing fine with the Blue Buffalo.

Vomiting can be caused by so many different things.  Rarely does food cause a cat to vomit.  I would recommend seeking veterinary attention if the vomiting has continued.  Unfortunately, in cats, not all vomiting can be solved or resolved.
