Flea/Tick medicine

Question
I currently give my dog Frontline to protect against fleas and ticks.  I am happy with the product but I am curious about a new (to me) product, K9 Advantix, that also claims to work against mosquitos.  Are either of these products harmful to my dog and, if so, which is more toxic?

To my knowledge, neither one of the products is toxic to dogs or humans. However I believe they are to cats so you need to watch out for that if you have cats. Or if your dog has an allergy to it. And you can do a spot test for that. K9 Advatix does work for mosquitos and proved to be more effective against ticks in a study conducted. Sorry It took so long to reply to your question.
