drinking from the sink

Question
May cat likes to drink from the running sink tap, this is not all ways possible and I know he needs a lot of water, My daughter just bought a  water fountain for him. How do I break this habit.

Hi Sheila,

the water fountain is fine.  But I will tell you this. Cats LOVE fresh circulating water. Just like people, they don't enjoy drinking a glass of water that has been sitting around all day.

use the fountain and don't turn the sink on.
