Is this for real?  A "topical" Heartworm med? (or is it supposed to be advertised as a heartworm "prevetitive")?

Revolution has been out for many, many years. While I don't have any data on its effectiveness, it must work ok or it would have been pulled off the market by now. I use Sentinel for my cats and dog and won't use anything else.

But I have been told it works. Any Heartworm prevention is better than none!!
