Puppy snacks

Question
We have a five week old boxer puppy, and I was told that I could give her pieces of cheese and cut up hot dog for a treat to reward her for good behavior. Is this true? Or could I make her sick? We are currently useing Newman's Own dog treats for small dogs, she doesn't like them. Any suggestions.

Hi Julie - yes, small bites of American or cheddar cheese are ok.. cut up about 2 ( 1 inch cubes per day )  Make 10 treats out of them..
Next, an all beef hot dog - give 1/2 per day - cut into small bites.

YOU can also use dog food as a treat...
