QuestionHI, I have a three year old male cockapoo who is the sweetest dog. He has been having trouble with a yeast infection in both ears. I took him to the vet and have been giving him meds both orally and in his ear. He acts as if his equilibrium is totally off...walks around like a drunken sailor, tripping and falling over backwards. It's like he doesn't know where his legs are going. I feel so bad for him...is this what ear infections will do to a dog? Thanks so much for any help. Jan
AnswerHi Jan - Yes, it can do that to humans too.. I hope the antibiotic takes hold of this soon. Also, good supplements are important for healing and to keep him healthy. Yeast is many times related to allergies... I would love for you to put your boy on some low cost and healthy supplements...
Here are my suggestions for your boy:
1. give him some Probiotic: Here are some from Natures Sunshine/ they ship out every 24 hrs and send right to your front door:
Also, there is a garlic supplement too - Garlic is a natural antibiotic...( use is small doses...very safe)
