A red patch beside my dwarf hamsters snout

I have a dwarf hamster that is about 2 years old and I found out yesterday, that beside it's snout where the whiskers were, there was a little patch of redness or I thought it was blood.Then today, the patch grew and seems to be larger.What is happening?

Could be from rubbing some part of the cage, or mange, or infection.
