paralysis

Question
My 5 year old Rotti Rocco was placed on Novox after his surgery (acl)Rocco re-injured the same leg 2 days ago and was place on tramadol. He has received 3 doses so far. This morning he was fine ( a tad out of it) and by the afternoon he could not stand. His "good" back leg is stiff and will not move. I am having x rays in the morning but I would like to know what this could be.. Neil

I wouldn't call this paralysis but it is common for the good leg to become the bad leg after taking on so much weight and stress from being the only good leg in the back.
He is probably pretty sore and could use a massage- along with a check up for sure.
I don't know what having xrays will show- this sounds like a muscle issue, not bone.
I hope this resolves for him quickly.
