i have a Beagles hes about year and 3 months and his testicles are very red kinda looks like a rugburn n his testicles or a rash. he doesnt seem to be in pain or anything but hes always licking it. is this something i should worry about?

Some kind of irritation has started this. His licking will cause more damage then a rash will, so put some hydrocortozone cream on it and rub it in well so that he will stop licking them.

If he continues to lick them there is something that needs to be investigated by the vet. Of course neutering might help since he won't have them to lick. Some dogs will self-mutilate and some will actually masturbate so it is something to think about.

I would take him in if the cream doesn't stop the redness and itching in about two days. Don't wait for him to be to the point of bleeding in other words!

I hope it resolves before that time however.
