Question
QUESTION: My little guy hasn't been eating much lately and drinking less.  He is still very active and playful but his appetite is bothering me.  He also has runny eyes.  What could possibly be wrong?

ANSWER: Hello:  He may have a virus...Hard to say.  Can you take him into a VET for a check-up?  Let them do some blood work, just to make sure eveything is ok.
After you see the vet, get back to me and I can help with food choices and supplements/vitamins.

OK??

Good Luck

QUESTION: Thank you for your prompt response to my other question.  The breeder we got the puppy from suggested penicillin first and if that doesn't work take him to vet.  We gave him a penicillin pill on 7-17-08.  Do you think this was good advice?  Will the penicillin help or not?

Answer
Hi:  No, Pcn doesn't always do the trick.  Please have the vet take a look and do some baseline blood work.  It won't cost you much just to have his blood tested and bring a Poop ( stool) sample to be tested.

Your breeder should have advised you to make a vet visit.
I am very protective when they are little pups!  If this was an adult dog we could do other things before I suggested the VET.

Please call your vet today.... Just to make sure you are not dealing with a major problem.
GET back to me and we can talk about feeding and allergies, after you see the vet.

The Old Saying " BE SAFE than Sorry"... do you know what I mean?
