My GSDs first heat

Roxy at 9 mths MY female gsd had her 1st heat at 6mths it lasted 32 days and was very heavy. it ended at the end of July, we are now the beginning of Oct. and she's going into heat again. Is this normal or should I be worried?

Well it is unusual but not abnormal. Most dogs are in diestrus (lack of estrus) for 6 months before they have another cycle. I gather you plan on breeding her?

If not, then get her spayed now. With this heavy of hormone activity she might be facing some issues like pyometra and breast cancer early if she isn't spayed now.

By the way, she is really beautiful!
