Moss killer and my dog

Is it safe to use moss killer on my grass as my dog and I play "kick" every day and she also likes to track animal scents (we live in a rural area with bears, deer, racoons, rats, etc. passing through our yard). My dog is a 2 year old, 12 lb. fixed female mixed breed: Pomeranian, Maltese, Shih-tzu, & Cockapoo (all these for sure - I lucked out!). She is very active and spends most of her time outside running or jumping. (I am 58 and trying to keep up with her.) We have some new sun in our yard after trees coming down so I wanted to get some good grass growing. Is moss killer safe to use around animals?

Answer
I would not use any kind of weed killer in an area where my pets are to come in contact with it. I know it tells you most of the time that it is safe once it is dried, but I wouldn't trust it.
