QuestionI currently have a female cat who just had 4 beautiful kittens, until a recent drop in temperature I did not had any flea problems in my home. I noticed that the kittens have fleas, asked my vet about it and was informed that the only way to control fleas in young kittens and nursing mothers is with a flea comb. I have been fanatically combing the kittens, as well as the mother, but I still have a problem with fleas in the rest of the house. Are there any flea control products that are safe to use on/near the 2 week old kittens and the queen? Although I love any opportunity to handle the kittens, I know that fleas can lead to anemia and possibly death, therefore any product advice you could give would be greatly appreciated.
thank-you

Answerthat is BS your vet told you.
there are products such as ADVANTAGE and REVOLUTION that can be applied. Call a cats only vet for more information on this or even look up the product and contact the company! :)
MY advice to you is contact another vet. You will be only treating the mom right now, but that will help with the situation and the kittens.
