10 week old shephard/burmese mountain dog

i have been sick this weekend with diarrhea and slept most of the weekend I couldn't seem to get up. Now my puppy is having the same symptoms as I did except he is vomiting a bit. he wont eat and drinks allot of water and seems sluggish but then still wants to jump up and comes when called and has tail wagging could he have what i had??

While some dogs seem to get what we have they usually don't. I would be more worried about him coming down with parvo at this point.
Has he had any vaccinations at all? Even with one or two he can still get it.
He is showing all the classic symptoms of it. If he starts to have some blood in his stool then you can almost be sure that is what he has.
The sooner you find out the better his chances of surviving it are.
Even with a shot or two in him if he has it (parvo) he can die from it if he doesn't get supportive care.

Give him some boiled rice in his food and see if that helps with the diarrhea tonight, but call the vet's in the morning.
Don't wait and mess around with this. You want to catch this early!!
