the dog ate my estrogen patch

2 y/o neutered doberman stuck his head in the trash & ate a discarded (used) transdermal combi-patch (estrogen/progesterone). It's about the size of a bandaid. So embarrassing. Should I worry?

Well this is a new one on me. I doubt if there is anything left to affect the dog, and I am not sure what it would do anyway. You might want to call the toll-free poison control center and ask them if any of the ingredients are toxic.

I don't have their number on me but it is in most phone books. The patch itself should go right through the dog.
