QuestionMy male cat, who is 4 yrs old started spraying urine in the house lately. He is neutered and has never done this before. I also own 3 other cats which have been established in this home for several years together. Ive had all my cats since they were babies. They range in ages of 2-7. The urine is clear and not blood tinged. He has no urinary infections. Any suggestions how to get him to stop? Sincerely, Carol
Answerdid you take him to the vet to make sure he does not have a UTI? any form of spraying in a neutered cat deserves a trip to the vet for a urinalysis to be done.
My males did it, and they both had uti's.
In some cases it is behavioral due to either stress or other cats outside your house. It can be modified with FELIWAY and or some prozac.
