Hi Tandra!  Veterinarians get paid by salary.  Which means that they do not get paid by the hour, they get a certain amount of pay per year.  For all of the extra hours veterinarians put in, they do not receive extra pay, or overtime pay.  They are on a set pay.  Veterinarians get a set amount per year of sick days, vacation days and personal days.
