The first sign is usually the sudden appearance of one or several unwanted male friends. The female dogs vulva swells and there is usually a bloody disharge which lasts for up to nine days.The discharge of eggs from the ovaries occurs during the five days following the bleeding.i.e. from the tenth to the fourteenth day unclusive.This is the best time to put your dog to breed with the male.
