Chlor Palm

Question
I don't know if you can answer this one.  I have a 2 year cat from a shelter.  Her immune system was likely not strong.  I have 3 other cats were wild.  All cats are indoor-only.  I took her to see a veterinary eye specialist and she suspects herpes as her right eye was dripping and she had conjunctivitis.  I am to give her 2.5 cc of Viralys, which contains L-Lysine (company bought out by pharmaceutical company but they say Viralys will be available.  She she was getting 2.5 cc of Viralys 2 times a day.  She had diarrhea initially but that went away.  Her nose recently becamse stuffed so the vet suspects a secondary bacterial infection.  So she gets the Viralys and Chlor Palm 2.5 cc twice a day.  Now she is constantly urinating small amounts but her stuffed nose sounds better.  She has been on the Chlor Palm about 3 or 4 days and the Viralys for about 2 weeks.  Could a side effect of Chlor Palm be frequent urination.  She seems to feel great.  I've tried to research side effects and found nothing.  Thank you.

Answer
You are right, I can't answer this. First of all ChlorPalm is a UK drug that we don't have but since it is a lot like Clindamycin (I think) I would have to say that frequent urination is possible but it could also be that she has cystitis on top of everything else.

If it continues or she seems to be straining I would call the vet and ask them.
