my cat ate a dead mouse

hello, i woke up this morning to go feed my cat, this is a daily routine for me and my cat, but this morning he didn't eat to much food, but as i was placing his food down i saw somthing on the ground, and as i picked it up i noticed it was a tail from a mouse,it was all dusty and hard, as if it had been dead a while and my cat must have found it and had eatin it. is their any precautions i should look for? or anything to help dijest the bones?

He should digest the mouse fine. My question to you is, do you  have rat poison in the house anywhere you have used? Or was this a mouse from outside?

Im also sure this was a pretty alive mouse before you saw what your cat had. Cats do not eat dead mice or rats.

You may want to take him to the vet if you are unsure of the poison.
