Thanks for your kind thoughts Nicole, about Madison.. you are an angel.. its nice being able to ask and discuss health issues with someone who knows.  vet or not.  I just wanted to let you know that Madison must have heard the vet say she is doing great b/c the minute we got home and the week following (this past week) she has been using it alot.. seems like its down and bearing weight more times than not.. acting more like herself, definitely more energenic....now its become more of an effort to keep her from running all out (especially after the 2 rabbits who have made our backyard their favorite restaurant). I take her out on the leash .. again thanks, and as far as her liver, is there anything in particular i should be looking for?

I am so happy to hear that Madison is doing so much better!As far as her liver, you can keep an eye open for these symptoms:
* a mouth odor that vets simply describe as foul,when accompanied by vomiting, loss of appetite, swelling of the abdomen or yellowing of the eyes or gums. These could indicate a liver disorder and should be discussed with your vet. Other than that,keep up the good work with Maddy! Please keep in touch and give that Madison tons of puppy kisses for me!
