Labrador Allergies?

I have a one year old yellow Lab.  He has a red "rash" on his chest.  Medium sized red spots, about 50.  He also is constantly licking the pads of his feet, and licks his privates (every time) immediately after using the bathroom.

He has also been VERY restless in the envenings. He can't seem to get comfortable, moving from place to place to lay down...moving every 30 seconds or so.

I've given him Benedryl, but that hasn't seemed to help.  Are these allergy symptoms?  Or possibly another condition?

It is probably irritating him.  Ask your vet for advice on what to do about this problem as skin conditions are very complicated.  Ask your vet for some Hibiscrub or you may be able to get it from a pharmacy.  Stand the dog in a dilution of this antiseptic solution for 5 minutes and then dry.

This should sort out his feet but you will need to see a vet for medication such as steroids
