Hi, after i got home today my mother in law had told me my cat was lying around all day, not eating much, which is not like him at all. Later i noticed when we went pee hs urine was very cloudy, could that be a sign of a bladder infection? we are very tight on money so i cannot afford to bring him into the vet unless it is something that is very serious....Please let me know asap

Cloudy urine in a male cat can turn into a deadly problem very quickly. You are lucky that he is still urinating at all. He is on the verge of his urethra plugging up with that cloudy stuff you are seeing, which is like toothpaste in his bladder.

Get him to the vet's asap or you will have a hundred's of dollars problem instead of a $50 problem. When a male cat blocks it can cost a lot to unplug them and save their lives.

So this falls under very serious indeed.
